Dr. Eyrich graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been in small animal practice for over 30 years. She completed two years of training in animal ultrasonography and has been performing cardiac and abdominal ultrasound for the last 11 years. She owns Mission Veterinary Clinic, a Fear Free certified veterinary practice, and she is passionate about providing the best possible care for every animal she treats. We are here to serve both our own patients and imaging only referral patients.
Dr. Brahm graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She then pursued advanced training in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care in Kentucky and Massachusetts. She stayed in Massachusetts for 10 years before deciding that she was tired of shoveling snow drifts larger than her house. She moved to New Mexico in 2016 and loves the 300 plus days of sun! When not treating her emergency patients, Dr. Brahm can be found reading, watching movies, and planning her next vacation adventure!
Dr. Bonnie Gray was raised in the North Valley of Albuquerque and graduated from Colorado State University Veterinary Medical School in 1988. She practiced in Idaho, Santa Fe, and Las Cruces before returning home to Albuquerque in 1994. After working as a vet for 19 years, she took a break from practicing and taught Biology, Health, and Environmental science for 3 years. She has a special interest in dermatology and internal medicine.
Dr. Gray has recently become an “empty nester” with her daughters graduating from high school, entering college, and the “real world”. She has two rescue dogs, Lola and Poppy. When she is not treating patients she is usually on the tennis court, doing yoga, reading, or .. realistically…has fallen asleep on the couch watching Netflix.
Dr. Catherine Heyboer grew up in Chicago, IL. She attended the University of California - Davis as an undergraduate student studying animal science. During her undergraduate education she developed a passion for veterinary medicine by working with dairy cattle and companion animals alike. Catherine completed her veterinary degree at UC Davis SVM where she became interested in general practice and urgent care. Outside of work, Catherine enjoys skiing, ice skating, hiking, and reading.
Peg joined the clinic in November 2023. She is a 30+ years, retired APS teacher, Technology, art, and dogs are some of her side skills. Peg keeps busy working with shelter/ rescue groups and helps her wife to manage a local therapy dog organization. Together, they have six rescue dogs: Chloe, Carma, Chester, Coal, Cleo and Clover.
Carissa was born and raised in Albuquerque. She has always had a deep love for animals and is passionate about animal care, often pet sitting for family and friends. Carissa joined the MVC team in March of 2023. Spending time with her wonderful little girl, Sofia and reading a good book are some of her favorite things.
Yana has been in the animal care field since 2005. A majority of that time has been spent as an emergency technician. She joined Mission in January 2025. When she is not caring for animals, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert, and their menagerie of two dogs and four cats. In her downtime, she crochets, plays video games (especially Stardew Valley), and likes to binge Netflix.
Jade has been working at Mission since 2021. She started out as a receptionist and is now one of our Urgent Care technicians. She grew up on a small farm in Placitas and has always had a love for all sorts of animals. She currently has four dogs, Daisy, Cardigan, Willow, and Chewey, and a cockatoo named Dulce. On her days off, she does hot yoga, spends time with her friends and family, and knits Dulce sweaters. Jade is currently enrolled in school to become a registered veterinary technician.
Sophia started at MVC as a receptionist in 2022 and has since moved to Urgent Care as a technician. She graduated from CNM’s Veterinary Technician program in 2024 and obtained her license as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Through her schooling, she gained experience in emergency medicine, shelter medicine and general practice including exotics and large animals. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, fostering kittens, and spending time with her cat, Bear.
Christina has been working in the veterinary field since 2013. She is currently working toward an RVT degree and also studying abdominal ultrasounds. A pug, a rescue puppy and a cat keep her busy at home.
Cassie started working at MVC in 2020. She has a BS in Biology and four Associate Degrees. She is a mom to one son, 3 cats and 1 dog, Cassie has been a volunteer at Watermelon Ranch and Animal Humane. She loves to paint and draw. Her future goal is to become a veterinarian.
Caitlan was drawn to veterinary medicine by her dog, Emory. Emory's many vet visits and procedures inspired Caitlan to pursue a career caring for animals. She recently graduated from CNM's Veterinary Technology program and is excited to venture into veterinary medicine at Mission. On days off, you can find her hiking and going on adventures with her husband and son. She enjoys traveling, visiting national parks, spoiling Emory, and spending time with family and friends.
My name is Maya, and I am currently enrolled in the veterinary technician program at CNM and plan on going for my bachelors in biology afterwards. Some of my hobbies include snowboarding, weight lifting, nature, and traveling. Most of my free time goes towards my rescue pup, Ziggy, who I adore very much. I have a huge love for exotics and hope to work with them someday as I have fostered 17 bunnies, 2 guinea pigs, and 2 rats.
Brittney is Native American from Montana. She has been assisting in the veterinary field since 2017, graduating from Pima Medical Institute with honors. Brittney loves spending time with her beautiful daughter and their newly adopted dog, Kokoo.
Whitley graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at CNM in April 2025 and began working as an RVT at Mission Veterinary Clinic. Her passion for science and animals has been lifelong. As a child, she was often helping tend to a wide array of animals. Even performing makeshift surgeries on stuffed animals, with questionable sutures and lots of determination. That early curiosity laid the foundation for a career rooted in animal science. Whitley has two cats. Chief keef, a mischievous little black cat and Medias, a dainty Siamese mix. During her free time she enjoys getting crafty, from crocheting to painting and reading to nature walks.
